Math: We are working with Chapter Six which deals with Geometry.
Reading: We are working with the text, "Ramona Forever." We will work with the comprehension skill, "Author's Purpose" on Wednesday, and we will test on Friday.
Science: We are not working on science at this point.
Social Studies: We are finishing our chapter which deals with Immigration. We will test on Wednesday January 26.
Guided Reading: We are working with Guided Reading each day. We are also working with new Guided Reading groups.
Spelling: We are working on Unit 19 which deals with the short "o" sound. We will have homework on Tuesday and Wednesday and test on Friday.
Writing: We are working very hard at out Reading Extended Response. We are also delving heavily in Math extended response. ISAT is the first week in March.... just around the corner! We are also working with fun, descriptive writing where the students will write from the perspective of Miss Teuber's dog, Wallee Teuber!
