Math: We are working with Chapter Six which deals with Geometry.
Reading: We are working with the concept of "Cause and Effect." Also, we are beginning our study of the 3rd grade novel, "Ramona Quimby, Age 8." We will be working on this for several months.
Science: We are not working on science at this point.
Social Studies: We are beginning Chapter Five which is called, "What Makes our Community Diverse?" We will have a picture dictionary due on Thursday.
Guided Reading: We are working with Guided Reading each day.
Spelling: We are working on Unit 20 which deals with or sound that that is spelled like "or" and "ar." We will have homework on Monday and Wednesday, and test on Friday.
Writing: We are working very hard at out Reading Extended Response. We are also delving heavily in Math extended response. ISAT is the first week in March.... just around the corner! We are also working with fun, descriptive writing where the students will write from the perspective of Miss Teuber's dog Wallee Teuber!
