Spelling: We are working on Unit 29 which deals with contractions. We will have homework on Monday and Tuesday and test on Friday.
Writing: The expectation in third grade, especially this late in the year is to make sure that we are writing complete sentences with capital letters and punctuation. Also, it is important to address the Six Traits of Writing whenever we are writing. Please take note! At the present time, we are writing fractured tales by creating our own version of the "Wizard of Oz" in book form. Stay tuned for when these awesome books are coming home!
